LANDSSKUET - NATIONAL AGRICULTURAL SHOW
The annual Landsskuet event in Herning brings together over 2,500 animals across three days, making it the largest animal showcase in Northern Europe and Denmark's sole national showcase drawing animals from across the country. Featuring top-quality cattle, horses, sheep, goats, rabbits, poultry, and cats, this exhibition caters to professional and hobby breeders alike, as well as urbanites who relish the charm of farm animals and the unique ambiance of the Landsskuepladsen venue.
Throughout the three days, attendees can enjoy a plethora of activities, exhibitions, and competitions. Among the highlights is the "Fødevarer i naturen" (Food in Nature) exhibit, showcasing Danish culinary delights and offering tastings of local delicacies. Adjacent to the food exhibit, visitors can explore the "Have- og Naturudstilling" (Garden and Nature Exhibition), featuring inspiring garden environments, tranquil oases, and various outdoor activities, including demonstrations by hunters and nature exploration for children.
The "Heste for Alle" (Horses for Everyone) area hosts horse-related activities, as well as show jumping and dressage competitions, shows, and demonstrations. With up to 300 exhibitors of machinery and products spread across Landsskuepladsen and Hal Q, Landsskuet also stands as one of Northern Europe's premier agricultural and leisure exhibitions. Catering to professional farmers, hobbyists, rural residents, and outdoor enthusiasts, the exhibition showcases dairy and beef cattle, horses, sheep, and goats, along with competitions for rabbits, poultry, and cats.
